The 1992 Collector's Series is The Cotillion Collection. Annie recreates the beautiful ball gowns from the last glory days of the Old South, when the hoop skirt reigned supreme. The 30-year period (1830-1860) was a time when dress-making was an art form.....the surviving dresses from that period are considered pieces of art.
Trimmed with lace, ribbons, and flowers, as were the gowns that inspired them, the Cotillion Series echoes the dazzling beauty, extravagance and elegance that represents the period. Join Annie Potter as she takes a step back in time with her "dream series."
